March 20th marks the first day of Spring. I personally believe that New Year’s Resolutions aren’t obtainable because like most of the planet’s habitats, humans are meant to rest and reflect during the cold months. Then, like the flowers and the buds of fruit, bloom again in the warmth of sunshine. Spring is a beautiful new beginning and with that, it’s a great opportunity to teach your littles about health. So here’s a list of wellness activities you can do with your kids this spring, with FREE downloadables and resources! πΈ

- Have a nature scavenger hunt! This gets your family outside and moving. A scavenger hunt practices mindfulness because it allows your kids to be fully in the present. We've offered a spring scavenger hunt to do in your backyard, but feel free to make yours a holiday theme! St. Patrick's Day anyone? Get your free Scavenger Hunt HERE!

- Explore feelings through art and color! Teaching your littles to navigate their big emotions is a hard challenge for even the best of us, but teaching them to attach their feelings to a color helps them identify what’s going on inside them- thus leading to a quicker conflict resolution. Plus, bonus points for color recognition! Get a Spring Feelings Activity and Mindful Journal HERE!

- Tired of bead sensory play? Let’s get down to the dirt! Plant something with your little one this spring! It can be flowers, fruits, or vegetables! Anything you like! Whatever your family finds manageable, being able to feel the soil beneath your kids hands, the touch of the seeds, will help with grounding and sensory play! It’s a great chance to create family bonding time as your kids water and grow their very own first plant! Get your Spring Activity Book HERE!
